The launch of our securities token offering, Resolute U.S. Real Estate Opportunities Fund I, is very timely as we are beginning to see many unique investment opportunities in the U.S. real estate market brought on by the economic disruption this year. Furthermore, blockchain technology is taking hold very quickly in the institutional investment community (PayPal, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Ant Group), and will bring significant value to our clients through its ability to enhance transparency, liquidity, accessibility, and security in real estate investments.

A Proven Investment Strategy

Resolute.Fund will invest in a diversified portfolio of U.S. commercial real estate, with a focus on distressed mortgage loans and other opportunistic real estate investments across the United States.


Taking Advantage of Dislocation

The Fund aims to acquire select real estate properties at significantly discounted prices (30-60%+) and resell them at appreciated prices after renovation, workouts or foreclosure, targeting net annual returns of 20%-25%.

The Fund will invest in opportunities across the main property types with an initial focus on:

  • Distressed single and multi-family properties  – high expected volume/strong resale market
  • Industrial property non-performing mortgage loans – stable throughout pandemic/expected to continue

Investments will be made across multiple markets to ensure economic portfolio diversification.


Cycle Tested Team

  • Strong performance investing in distressed real estate from the Great Recession (2008) through present.
  • 30+ years’ aggregate experience in real estate and mortgage acquisitions


Outperformance Incentive

If the team achieves a 1.2x multiple on invested capital, the general partners may be awarded a maximum 5 million REZ tokens over time, until the multiple on invested capital reaches 1.8x. This performance incentive is capped at 5 million tokens under all circumstances.

John Lydon CIOJohn has been a senior executive in the mortgage industry since 1990, having founded and led his own mortgage acquisition and service company, Diversified Services Inc. from 1990 - 2001 and Resolution Consultants, LLC from 2001 to present. He has transacted in all phases and types of lending - from A paper to non-conforming lending. John has reviewed and analyzed loan tranches/pools in excess of $1 billion for multiple major commercial banks. He has invested in more than $500MM of loans during the course of the past decade. He is highly skilled and experienced in managing loan acquisitions from start to liquidation.
Michaela Dibernardo FerrigineManaging PartnerMs. Ferrigine has more than 20 years’ experience as a senior executive in institutional finance and investment. With an in-depth understanding of investment strategies, as well as brokerage and capital markets, she has worked with some of the largest mutual funds, pension funds, and hedge funds in the U.S. and Canada. As a licensed professional at Alliance Bernstein and on the NYSE, Ms. Ferrigine followed banks, energy, biotech and fintech. She has a keen interest in sustainability and holds a B.A. from Rutgers University.
Tom HermanCTOTom brings over 20 years of experience leading software startups and product development teams most recently on Blockchain. He has built platforms for the Travel, Real Estate, Video Advertising, and Streaming Media industries. Tom is the co-founder and CTO of DeedLock, a leading blockchain based Real Estate Transfer platform in the United states.
